- Develop and implement Oracle security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's data and information systems.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing security measures and make recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and address them proactively.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends in the Oracle ecosystem and adjust security protocols accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization's operations.
- Train and educate employees on Oracle security best practices and protocols.
- Manage user access and permissions to Oracle databases and applications.
- Implement and maintain intrusion detection and prevention systems for Oracle systems.
- Respond to and resolve any security incidents or breaches in a timely and effective manner.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security tools and software for Oracle systems.
- Communicate security risks and issues to senior management and make recommendations for mitigation.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's security posture.
- Mentor and guide junior security team members.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and responsibility throughout the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Information Security, With At Least 3 Years Specifically Focused On Oracle Security.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Oracle Security Tools And Technologies, Including Oracle Advanced Security, Oracle Database Vault, And Oracle Audit Vault And Database Firewall.
Experience With Implementing And Managing Security Controls And Processes In A Large-Scale Oracle Environment.
Professional Certifications Such As Oracle Certified Professional (Ocp), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp), Or Certified Information Security Manager (Cism) Are Preferred.
