- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the database and application development lifecycle.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends in the Oracle environment.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams and clients on security best practices and procedures.
- Respond to security incidents and perform necessary investigations and remediation.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions to educate employees on security protocols and procedures.
- Continuously assess and improve the security posture of the organization's Oracle systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their security needs and concerns.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure the security of third-party applications and tools integrated with Oracle systems.
- Keep accurate records of security incidents, remediation actions, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the status of security measures and incidents to management.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Oracle security and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Oracle Database Security Management.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Security, Or Related Field.
Certification In Oracle Security, Such As Oracle Certified Security Professional (Ocsp) Or Oracle Certified Expert - Oracle Database Security (Oce).
In-Depth Knowledge Of Oracle Database Architecture And Security Features.
Experience With Implementing And Managing Security Controls, Such As Encryption, Access Controls, And Auditing, In An Oracle Environment.
