Manager - SOC Reporting

RSM US is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager - SOC Reporting to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge of SOC reporting to assist our clients in their journey to achieve compliance with Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting standards.To be successful in this role, you must be highly analytical and have a strong understanding of SOC reporting and industry standards. Additionally, you must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. If you have a passion for helping clients meet their compliance requirements, then this is the role for you!The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of five years of experience working with SOC reporting, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of accounting and auditing, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategies to ensure clients meet their compliance requirements in accordance with SOC reporting standards.
2. Analyze client data and financial reports to identify any discrepancies or anomalies.
3. Provide guidance and advice to clients on best practices for achieving SOC reporting requirements.
4. Monitor changes in industry standards and update clients on new developments.
5. Ensure all processes and procedures are in line with SOC reporting rules and regulations.
6. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
7. Train and mentor staff on SOC reporting processes and procedures.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing compliance.
9. Prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
10. Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in order to identify potential opportunities.
