- Lead and oversee the penetration testing practice at RSM US, ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' systems and networks.
- Conduct thorough and successful penetration tests on client systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities and providing recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific security needs and tailor penetration testing approaches accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and incorporate this knowledge into the penetration testing practice.
- Mentor and train junior members of the team on ethical hacking techniques and best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing regular updates on the status of penetration testing projects and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Work closely with other teams within RSM US, such as IT and risk management, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to security.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all penetration tests, including methodologies, results, and recommendations.
- Continuously analyze and improve the penetration testing process, incorporating new tools and techniques to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of the penetration testing practice.
- Represent RSM US at industry events and conferences to promote our expertise in penetration testing and develop new business opportunities.
Extensive Experience In Penetration Testing: A Manager - Penetration Tester At Rsm Us Must Possess A Strong Background In Conducting Penetration Tests, Vulnerability Assessments, And Other Security Assessments. They Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Field, With A Proven Track Record Of Identifying And Mitigating Security Risks.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Security Tools And Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Various Security Tools And Techniques, Including Network And Web Application Scanning, Social Engineering, And Exploitation Frameworks. They Should Also Have A Deep Understanding Of Operating Systems, Databases, And Programming Languages.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Manager - Penetration Tester, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Assessing Potential Security Vulnerabilities. Therefore, They Must Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Identify And Recommend Solutions To Mitigate Risks.
Excellent Communication And Client Management Skills: This Role Requires Working Closely With Clients To Understand Their Security Needs, Explain The Findings Of Assessments, And Provide Recommendations For Improving Their Security Posture.
