- Conduct ESG Risk Assessments: The Manager of ESG Risk Consulting will be responsible for conducting thorough ESG risk assessments for clients, identifying potential environmental and social risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop ESG Strategies: This role will involve developing sustainability and responsible business strategies for clients, taking into account their unique goals, industry, and operations.
- Lead ESG Consulting Projects: The Manager of ESG Risk Consulting will be the primary point of contact for ESG consulting projects, leading a team of consultants and ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Stay Informed on ESG Trends: Keeping up with the latest trends and developments in ESG risk management will be a key responsibility of this role. The Manager of ESG Risk Consulting will be expected to stay informed on changes in regulations, industry best practices, and emerging risks.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients will be essential in this role. The Manager of ESG Risk Consulting will be responsible for understanding their clients' needs and providing exceptional service to meet those needs.
- Provide ESG Training and Education: This role will involve educating clients on ESG best practices, providing training on ESG risk management, and helping to build a culture of sustainability and responsibility within client organizations.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: The Manager of ESG Risk Consulting will work closely with other teams within RSM, including sustainability, accounting, and risk management, to provide comprehensive solutions for clients.
- Monitor and Report on ESG Performance: A key responsibility of this role will be to monitor and report on the ESG performance of clients, providing regular updates on progress towards sustainability goals and identifying areas for improvement.
- Conduct Stakeholder Engagement: The Manager of ESG Risk Consulting will be responsible for conducting stakeholder engagement activities, including engaging with customers, employees, and community members to gather feedback and input on ESG initiatives.

Strong Understanding Of Esg Principles And Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Knowledge Of Environmental, Social, And Governance (Esg) Issues, Regulations, And Best Practices. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Sustainability Reporting Standards, Stakeholder Engagement, And Responsible Investing.
Proven Experience In Risk Management: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Identifying, Assessing, And Mitigating Esg Risks For Organizations. This Includes Developing Risk Frameworks, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Implementing Risk Management Strategies.
Excellent Project Management Skills: The Manager Should Have The Ability To Lead And Manage Multiple Esg Consulting Projects Simultaneously. This Includes Developing Project Plans, Allocating Resources, And Ensuring Timely Delivery Of High-Quality Work.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret Complex Esg Data And Identify Key Insights And Trends. They Should Also Have The Ability To Think Critically And Come Up With Creative Solutions To Address Esg Challenges.
