  1. Greet and welcome potential candidates to RSM US and provide information about the company and the position.
  2. Communicate job responsibilities and expectations clearly and effectively.
  3. Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates for the Federal Tax Services Intern role.
  4. Coordinate and schedule interviews with qualified candidates.
  5. Onboard and train new interns, providing them with necessary resources and information to excel in their role.
  6. Assist in developing and implementing internship program initiatives to enhance the intern's learning and development.
  7. Assign tasks and projects to interns based on their skills and interests.
  8. Monitor and evaluate intern performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  9. Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure interns are effectively supporting and contributing to tax-related projects.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for interns, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  11. Provide guidance and support to interns as they navigate their professional growth and development.
  12. Conduct exit interviews and collect feedback from interns to improve the internship program.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure interns are learning and working with current information.
  14. Represent the company and the internship program at career fairs and other recruiting events.
  15. Encourage and support interns to apply for full-time positions within the company upon completion of their internship.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations: A Federal Tax Services Intern Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Federal Tax Laws And Regulations, Including The Internal Revenue Code, To Assist With Tax Preparation And Compliance.

  • Proficiency In Tax Software: Experience With Tax Software, Such As Cch Or Thomson Reuters, Is Essential For A Federal Tax Services Intern. This Includes The Ability To Input Data Accurately And Efficiently, As Well As Generate Reports And Analysis.
