Strong Academic Background In Accounting Or Finance: A Federal Tax Services Intern At Rsm Us Is Expected To Have A Solid Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Tax Laws. Therefore, A Strong Academic Background In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field Is Essential.
Knowledge Of Federal Tax Regulations: As The Role Involves Assisting With Federal Tax Compliance And Consulting Services, A Comprehensive Knowledge Of Federal Tax Regulations, Including The Internal Revenue Code And Related Guidance, Is Necessary.
Attention To Detail: As An Intern, You Will Be Exposed To A Variety Of Tax-Related Tasks, Such As Preparing Tax Returns, Conducting Research, And Analyzing Financial Data. Therefore, Strong Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure Accuracy And Compliance With Regulations.
Proficiency In Tax Software And Technology: Rsm Us Uses Various Tax Software And Technology To Assist With Tax Compliance And Consulting Services. Proficiency In Microsoft Excel And Other Tax Software Is Highly Desirable For This Role.
