  1. Conduct research and analysis on tax laws, regulations, and policies related to mergers and acquisitions.
  2. Assist in the preparation of tax planning and analysis for clients involved in mergers and acquisitions.
  3. Collaborate with senior team members to identify and resolve complex tax issues.
  4. Participate in client meetings and presentations to provide insights and recommendations based on research and analysis.
  5. Prepare and review tax returns and related documents for mergers and acquisitions.
  6. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and their impact on mergers and acquisitions.
  7. Assist in the development of client proposals and presentations.
  8. Work closely with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
  9. Maintain organized and detailed records of all project work and research.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  11. Continuously seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills in the field of tax advisory.
  12. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  13. Collaborate with other interns and team members to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  14. Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by senior team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Federal Tax Laws And Regulations: A Strong Understanding Of Current Federal Tax Laws And Regulations Is Essential For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Completed Coursework In Taxation And Have A Solid Understanding Of Tax Planning Strategies.

  • Mergers & Acquisitions Experience: Experience With Mergers And Acquisitions, Either Through Previous Internships Or Coursework, Is Highly Desired. The Intern Will Be Working On Projects Related To M&A Transactions, So Familiarity With The Process Is Important.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: The Ability To Analyze Complex Tax Issues And Provide Strategic Recommendations Is A Crucial Aspect Of This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Attention To Detail.

  • Communication And Teamwork: As An Intern, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With A Team Of Tax Professionals, So Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential. The Ability To Collaborate Effectively And Communicate Ideas Clearly Is Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Proactive And Self-Motivated: This Role Requires An Individual Who Is Proactive And Self-Motivated. The Intern Will Be Working On Multiple Projects Simultaneously And Must Be Able To Manage Their Time Efficiently And Take Initiative To Complete Tasks.
