Job Description

We at RSM US are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Federal Credits and Incentives team as a Tax Associate. This individual will be responsible for providing valuable tax advice to a variety of clients and developing innovative solutions to complex tax issues. The successful candidate will have strong tax knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think creatively and strategically.The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field as well as at least two years of experience in tax credits and incentives, preferably at a public accounting firm or in a corporate tax department. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong work ethic, and have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide tax advice to clients in line with Federal Credits and Incentives regulations.
  2. Develop innovative solutions to complex tax issues.
  3. Maintain strong tax knowledge and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Think strategically and creatively to formulate tailored solutions.
  5. Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Possess a strong work ethic and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  7. Remain up-to-date on Federal Credits and Incentives regulations.
  8. Prepare and review tax returns and financial statements.
  9. Assist in research and development of tax credits and incentives.
  10. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations.
