At RSM US, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Intern to join our growing team. As an Audit Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the field of audit and assurance services. You will assist with client engagements, including financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, agreed-upon procedures, and other accounting services.The ideal candidate for this role has a deep interest in the audit and assurance industry, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required for this position, and prior audit experience is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Assist with client engagements, including financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, agreed-upon procedures, and other accounting services.
- Maintain and update audit files and records.
- Assist with the preparation of audit working papers, reports, and other documents.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Adhere to the professional standards and ethics of the accounting and assurance industry.
- Utilize audit software to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while on client engagements.
- Other duties as assigned.
