In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to oversee the youth program on our cruise ships, ensuring that children and teenagers have a fun and enriching experience onboard. We are looking for someone who is creative, energetic, and dedicated to providing exceptional service to our young guests.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive youth program that caters to the needs and interests of children and teenagers onboard the cruise ship.
  2. Supervise and train a team of youth program staff, including scheduling, conducting performance evaluations, and providing ongoing support and guidance.
  3. Ensure a safe and secure environment for all youth program activities, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  4. Plan and coordinate engaging and educational activities, events, and excursions for children and teenagers, taking into consideration their age, abilities, and interests.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as entertainment and food and beverage, to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for young guests.
  6. Maintain and update inventory of program supplies and equipment, and make necessary purchases to enhance the program.
  7. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child's participation in the youth program, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  8. Monitor and control program budget, ensuring all expenses are within allocated funds.
  9. Continuously evaluate and improve the youth program, seeking feedback from both guests and staff to enhance the overall experience.
  10. Act as a role model for both staff and guests, promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, at all times.
  12. Conduct regular meetings and trainings with youth program staff to ensure consistency and quality in program delivery.
  13. Maintain accurate records and reports of program attendance, staff performance, and any incidents or concerns.
  14. Handle any emergencies or critical situations that may arise in the youth program, following company guidelines and procedures.
  15. Represent the company and youth program in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Youth In A Recreational Or Educational Setting.

  • Strong Organizational And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team Of Youth Program Staff.

  • Knowledge Of Child Development And Experience Creating Age-Appropriate Activities And Programming For Children And Teens.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Positively With Children, Parents, And Other Cruise Staff.
