1. Oversee and manage all spa operations onboard Royal Caribbean Cruises ships.
2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue for the spa department.
3. Hire, train, and supervise a team of therapists and technicians to ensure high-quality service and a positive work environment.
4. Create and maintain a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for guests in the spa.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels for spa products and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
6. Collaborate with other departments, such as guest services and housekeeping, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
7. Develop and implement training programs for staff to maintain and improve service standards and stay updated on industry trends and techniques.
8. Monitor and analyze spa performance, including revenue and guest satisfaction, and make adjustments as needed to meet department goals and targets.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
10. Handle any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues and exceed expectations.
11. Work closely with corporate and shipboard management to develop and implement new spa services and promotions.
12. Manage spa budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on quality or service.
13. Maintain a high level of personal and professional integrity, leading by example for spa staff and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
14. Stay updated on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvement or changes to spa services and operations.
15. Represent Royal Caribbean Cruises and the spa department in a positive and professional manner at all times.
