- Collaborate with various departments, including onboard entertainment and dining, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of shore excursions.
- Research and evaluate potential destinations and activities to continuously update and improve the shore excursion offerings.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with local vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality services.
- Train and supervise a team of shore excursion staff to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze guest feedback and excursion performance to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations during shore excursions.
- Maintain accurate records of excursion bookings, expenses, and revenue, and provide regular reports to upper management.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote and advertise shore excursions to potential guests.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to stay ahead of the game in the shore excursion market.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Tourism, Or A Related Field.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Management Role, Preferably In The Hospitality Or Cruise Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Various Shore Excursion Destinations And Activities.
Ability To Lead And Manage A Team, While Also Working Collaboratively With Other Departments On The Ship.
