1. Develop and implement a comprehensive shore excursions program for Royal Caribbean Cruises, ensuring a diverse and exciting range of experiences for guests.
2. Collaborate with cruise directors, port agents, and other team members to plan and execute shore excursions in various ports of call.
3. Conduct thorough research on destinations and activities to ensure the highest level of quality and safety for guests.
4. Negotiate contracts and rates with local vendors and excursion providers, taking into account budget and guest satisfaction.
5. Train and supervise a team of shore excursion staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional guest service.
6. Monitor and analyze guest feedback and excursion ratings, making necessary adjustments to continuously improve the program.
7. Act as a liaison between the cruise line and shore excursion vendors, maintaining positive relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition, making recommendations for new and innovative shore excursion offerings.
9. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote and market shore excursion options to guests, increasing revenue and guest satisfaction.
10. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory policies and procedures related to shore excursions.
11. Handle any guest concerns or complaints related to shore excursions, providing prompt and effective resolution.
12. Manage and track budget for shore excursion program, ensuring cost-effective and profitable operations.
13. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing updates on the success of the shore excursion program and making recommendations for improvement.
14. Act as a representative of Royal Caribbean Cruises, promoting the company's brand and values to guests and vendors.
15. Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all guests.
