Royal Caribbean Cruises is seeking a dynamic and driven Shore Excursions Manager to join our team. As the Shore Excursions Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all shore excursion activities, ensuring our guests have an exceptional and memorable journey at every port.   1. Develop and oversee the overall shore excursion program for the cruise line, ensuring a wide variety of activities and experiences are offered to guests.
  2. Hire, train, and manage a team of shore excursion staff, providing them with the necessary resources and support to deliver outstanding customer service.
  3. Collaborate with various departments, including onboard entertainment, sales, and marketing, to create enticing shore excursion packages and promotions.
  4. Monitor and analyze guest feedback and excursion sales data to continuously improve the shore excursion program and offerings.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with local tour operators and vendors at each port of call to ensure high-quality and safe excursion experiences for guests.
  6. Create and manage budgets for the shore excursion program, ensuring financial goals are met while maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction.
  7. Oversee the scheduling and coordination of all shore excursion activities, including transportation, guides, and equipment, to ensure seamless and enjoyable experiences for guests.
  8. Develop and implement emergency response plans for shore excursions to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
  9. Conduct regular training and performance evaluations for shore excursion staff to ensure they are knowledgeable, professional, and providing exceptional service to guests.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the shore excursion program and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Tourism, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Managerial Role In The Hospitality Or Tourism Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Shore Excursion Planning And Operations, Including Budgeting And Scheduling.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work With A Diverse Team And Interact With Guests.

  • Proficient In Computer Software And Systems, Such As Reservation Systems And Microsoft Office.
