As the Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and crew members onboard our ships.   1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for all onboard activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  2. Conduct regular inspections of all ship areas to identify and address any potential safety hazards.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure all safety equipment and systems are properly maintained and functioning.
  4. Train and educate crew members on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  5. Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and recommend improvements to prevent accidents and incidents.
  6. Investigate any safety-related incidents or accidents and provide detailed reports.
  7. Conduct safety drills and exercises to prepare crew members for emergency situations.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry safety standards and make necessary updates to company policies and procedures.
  9. Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and participate in safety audits and inspections.
  10. Communicate safety updates and initiatives to all crew members and provide necessary training or resources.
  11. Act as a point of contact for guests regarding safety concerns or questions.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a culture of safety is maintained throughout the organization.
  13. Coordinate with port authorities and other external stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  14. Respond to any safety-related emergencies and take necessary actions to ensure the safety and security of all onboard.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the safety program to maintain the highest standards of safety and security for guests and crew members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Or A Related Field.

  • 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Safety Role, Preferably In The Maritime Or Hospitality Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Maritime Safety Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Crew Members On Safety Protocols.

  • Certification In Safety Management, Such As Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Occupational Health And Safety Technician (Ohst).
