  1. Conduct regular safety inspections of the ship, including all public areas, guest cabins, and crew quarters.
  2. Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  3. Train and educate crew members on safety procedures and emergency response protocols.
  4. Monitor and analyze safety data and reports to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and housekeeping, to ensure safety protocols are followed and maintained.
  6. Respond to and investigate any safety incidents or accidents, and provide detailed reports to management.
  7. Maintain and update safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and lifeboats, to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  8. Conduct regular drills and training exercises to prepare crew members for emergency situations.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry safety standards and regulations, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  10. Communicate regularly with guests and address any safety concerns or questions they may have.
  11. Coordinate with local authorities and emergency response teams in the event of an emergency.
  12. Uphold the company's safety culture and promote a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees.
  13. Respond quickly and calmly in high-stress situations to ensure the safety and well-being of others.
  14. Investigate and report any safety violations or incidents to management.
  15. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all safety-related activities and incidents.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety Or Related Field.

  • Certification In Occupational Health And Safety, Such As Osha Or Nebosh.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Safety Role In The Maritime Industry.

  • Knowledge Of International Safety Regulations And Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills With The Ability To Train And Educate Staff On Safety Procedures.
