  1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with company and industry standards.
  2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks.
  3. Train and educate crew members on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  4. Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  5. Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents.
  6. Maintain and update safety manuals, procedures, and training materials.
  7. Coordinate and participate in safety drills and exercises.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure safety measures are integrated into all aspects of the cruise experience.
  9. Stay informed about industry safety trends and developments and make recommendations for improvement.
  10. Respond to guest and crew safety concerns and provide appropriate solutions.
  11. Conduct safety orientations for new crew members.
  12. Maintain accurate records of safety activities and incidents.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with external safety agencies and authorities.
  14. Provide support and guidance to the onboard medical team in case of emergencies.
  15. Act as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies during safety inspections and audits.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Crew Members On Safety Procedures.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Safety Officer Role, Preferably In A Maritime Or Cruise Ship Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of International Safety Regulations And Standards, Such As Solas And Ism Code.

  • Certification In Cpr, First Aid, And Other Relevant Safety Courses.
