  1. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines on board our ships.
  2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address any potential hazards or risks.
  3. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests and crew members.
  4. Train and educate crew members on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  5. Monitor and track safety incidents, investigate and report any incidents or near-misses.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to address any safety concerns and implement necessary improvements.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry safety standards and regulations and make recommendations for continued improvement.
  8. Conduct drills and exercises to prepare crew members for emergency situations.
  9. Coordinate with external agencies and authorities for safety inspections and audits.
  10. Serve as a point of contact for guests and crew members regarding safety concerns and inquiries.
  11. Lead and motivate a team of safety officers and ensure their compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety incidents, training, and inspections.
  13. Respond promptly and effectively to any safety-related emergencies.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate safety procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  15. Foster a culture of safety awareness and responsibility among all crew members.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of International Safety Regulations And Standards, Including Solas And Ism Code.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Safety-Related Role, Preferably In The Maritime Or Hospitality Industry.

  • Certification In Safety Management Systems, Such As Ohsas 18001 Or Iso 45001.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Crew Members On Safety Procedures.
