- Design and execute creative and high-quality pastry and dessert menus for all onboard dining venues, including fine dining restaurants, buffets, and special events.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the pastry department, including ordering ingredients, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Train and supervise a team of pastry cooks and assistants, providing guidance and coaching to ensure consistency and excellence in all pastry preparations.
- Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to plan and execute special events, such as theme nights and holiday celebrations, with a focus on creating unique and memorable dessert experiences.
- Continuously research and develop new recipes, techniques, and trends in the pastry industry to keep our offerings fresh and exciting for our guests.
- Monitor food costs and labor expenses to ensure the department operates within budgetary guidelines.
- Uphold the highest standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring that all pastries and desserts are prepared and served to the highest level of excellence.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Represent Royal Caribbean Cruises by providing excellent customer service and interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner.

Culinary Degree Or Equivalent Experience: A Pastry Chef At Royal Caribbean Cruises Should Have A Formal Education In The Culinary Arts Or Equivalent Experience In A Professional Kitchen.
