  1. Develop and create a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods for onboard dining options.
  2. Ensure that all pastries and desserts meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
  3. Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menus that cater to guests' preferences and dietary restrictions.
  4. Train, supervise, and mentor pastry assistants and other staff members to maintain a high level of skill and expertise in pastry making.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to ensure a well-stocked and efficient pastry kitchen.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new and innovative ideas into pastry creations.
  8. Work closely with other departments, such as dining and event planning, to coordinate special requests and events.
  9. Adhere to budget and cost control measures while maintaining the highest quality of ingredients and products.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any feedback or concerns related to pastries and desserts.
  11. Keep up with and comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  12. Continuously strive for excellence and contribute to the overall success of the culinary team and the cruise line.
