Housekeeping Supervisor

1. Oversee and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure all duties are carried out effectively and efficiently.
2. Create and maintain a schedule for housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of time.
3. Train and mentor new housekeeping staff to ensure they understand and adhere to all cleaning procedures and standards.
4. Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and submit orders for replenishment when necessary.
5. Conduct regular inspections of cabins and public areas to ensure cleanliness and report any issues to appropriate departments.
6. Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints or requests regarding housekeeping services.
7. Coordinate with other departments such as maintenance and front desk to ensure all guest needs are met in a timely manner.
8. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures related to housekeeping activities.
9. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of service and identify areas for improvement.
10. Develop and implement training programs to improve the skills and knowledge of housekeeping staff.
11. Maintain records and reports related to housekeeping activities, including inventory, staff schedules, and maintenance requests.
12. Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
13. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to constantly improve and innovate housekeeping services.
14. Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
15. Adhere to company policies and procedures and promote a culture of teamwork and excellence among housekeeping staff.
