1. Oversee and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective operation of all housekeeping tasks and duties.
2. Train and coach housekeeping staff on company policies, procedures, and standards for cleanliness and guest service.
3. Conduct regular inspections of guest cabins, public areas, and crew quarters to ensure they meet company standards for cleanliness and maintenance.
4. Maintain inventory and stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as guest services and maintenance, to address and resolve any guest concerns or maintenance issues.
6. Create and maintain schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure proper coverage and efficient use of resources.
7. Monitor and track housekeeping expenses and work within budgetary guidelines.
8. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff.
9. Implement and uphold safety and security procedures for housekeeping staff and guest cabins.
10. Communicate and coordinate with other supervisors and management to ensure smooth operation of the entire ship.
11. Continuously evaluate and improve housekeeping processes and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and overall efficiency.
12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, leading by example for the housekeeping team.
13. Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues regarding housekeeping services.
14. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, including health and safety standards.
15. Act as a role model for exceptional guest service and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
