- Create and design menus that showcase creativity, innovation, and exceptional taste.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Train and mentor culinary staff, providing guidance and support to continuously improve their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments, such as dining and hospitality, to provide a seamless guest experience.
- Stay updated on current culinary trends and incorporate them into the onboard dining experience.
- Maintain and uphold company values and standards, representing the brand with professionalism and integrity.
Culinary Training And Experience: A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Culinary Experience, Including At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Role As An Executive Chef, With A Focus On Fine Dining And International Cuisine.
Menu Development And Innovation: Proven Track Record Of Creating And Implementing Innovative And Profitable Menus, As Well As The Ability To Adapt Menus To Accommodate Dietary Restrictions And Special Requests.
Leadership And Management Skills: Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Chefs, Sous Chefs, And Kitchen Staff, Including Hiring, Training, And Performance Management.
Cost Control And Budgeting: Experience In Managing Food And Labor Costs, As Well As Creating And Adhering To Budgets, While Maintaining High Standards Of Quality And Guest Satisfaction.
Knowledge Of Sanitation And Safety Standards: Familiarity With All Relevant Food Safety And Sanitation Regulations And The Ability To Maintain A Clean And Organized Kitchen Environment To Ensure The Safety Of Guests And Staff.
