- Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage and purchasing, to ensure the timely delivery of supplies and ingredients.
- Monitor and maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control to meet company standards and exceed guest expectations.
- Implement and maintain food safety and sanitation practices, adhering to all health code regulations and company policies.
- Continuously strive for innovation and improvement in menu offerings, incorporating new trends and techniques to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage food cost and inventory levels to meet budgetary goals and minimize waste.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and techniques to constantly improve and elevate the culinary offerings on board.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including safety and HR protocols.
- Oversee the training and development of culinary team members, providing feedback and coaching to help them reach their full potential.
