As an Entertainment Manager, you will oversee all aspects of onboard entertainment, from planning and implementing performances to managing and mentoring a team of talented performers.   1. Plan, organize, and oversee all onboard entertainment activities, including shows, events, and activities.
  2. Collaborate with other departments to create a diverse and engaging entertainment program.
  3. Develop and maintain a budget for entertainment department, ensuring all expenses are within allocated resources.
  4. Recruit, train, and manage a team of talented performers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality performances.
  5. Create and maintain schedules for entertainment staff, ensuring proper coverage for all activities.
  6. Work closely with external performers and vendors to coordinate their performances.
  7. Develop creative and innovative ideas for new entertainment offerings to enhance guest experience.
  8. Ensure all entertainment activities and performances comply with safety and quality standards.
  9. Monitor guest feedback and make necessary adjustments to entertainment offerings to meet guest expectations.
  10. Manage and maintain all entertainment equipment and supplies, including sound and lighting systems.
  11. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for entertainment staff.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and developments to continuously improve the entertainment program.
  13. Handle any guest complaints or concerns related to entertainment and take necessary actions to resolve them.
  14. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote entertainment offerings and attract guests.
  15. Maintain accurate records and reports related to entertainment activities and expenses.
  16. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and ethical standards.
  17. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Entertainment Management, Preferably In A Cruise Ship Or Hospitality Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Diverse Team Of Performers And Staff.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of The Entertainment Industry, Including Current Trends And Best Practices.

  • Excellent Communication, Organization, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle High-Pressure Situations And Maintain A Positive Attitude.
