1. Greet and welcome guests as they enter the dining room, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
2. Take and accurately record guests' orders and ensure they are delivered promptly and correctly.
3. Set and prepare tables for service, ensuring they are clean and properly set up.
4. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including clearing and resetting tables.
5. Anticipate guests' needs and provide exceptional service by addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
6. Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, including ensuring correct plating and garnishing.
7. Collaborate with other dining room staff to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the meal.
8. Communicate effectively with kitchen and other departments to ensure a smooth flow of service.
9. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
10. Provide recommendations and suggestions to guests regarding menu items and dietary restrictions.
11. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
12. Attend all required training and meetings to stay updated on menu changes, policies, and procedures.
13. Adhere to all company policies and standards to maintain a professional and positive work environment.
