Previous Experience In Loss Prevention Or Security: A Store Protection Specialist At Ross Stores Should Have Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment.
Knowledge Of Store Operations And Security Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of How Retail Stores Operate And Be Knowledgeable About Security Procedures Such As Surveillance Systems, Alarm Systems, And Inventory Control.
Ability To Identify And Respond To Potential Threats: Store Protection Specialists Must Have The Ability To Identify Suspicious Behavior Or Potential Threats To The Store's Security And Take Appropriate Action To Address Them.
Excellent Communication And Conflict Resolution Skills: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Customers, Store Employees, And Law Enforcement, So Strong Communication And Conflict Resolution Skills Are Essential.
