Store Protection Specialist

We're looking for a highly motivated Store Protection Specialist to join our team at Ross Stores in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees. This position requires excellent problem solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to interact professionally with customers and staff. The Store Protection Specialist will be responsible for responding to security and safety concerns and monitoring the store for suspicious activities.The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications: a high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience working in a retail environment; experience in loss prevention, asset protection, or security; current knowledge of OSHA safety regulations; and the ability to work a flexible schedule and be available for some nights and weekends. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
