1. Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the store premises, including the parking lot and surrounding areas.
2. Identify and respond to potential security threats, such as theft, fraud, and vandalism, in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Conduct regular security checks throughout the store, including back rooms and stock areas, to ensure all merchandise is accounted for.
4. Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and resolving any concerns or issues.
5. Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and procedures, and enforce them consistently throughout the store.
6. Operate security equipment, such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to monitor and prevent theft and other security incidents.
7. Collaborate with store management and team members to develop and implement effective security strategies and procedures.
8. Prepare and submit detailed incident reports for any security or safety-related incidents.
9. Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on security protocols and procedures.
10. Assist in the training and development of new team members on security procedures and protocols.
11. Communicate effectively with external law enforcement agencies, if necessary, to report and resolve security incidents.
12. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the company in a positive manner.
13. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in all areas of work.
14. Continuously assess and identify potential security risks and make recommendations for improvement.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned by store management.
