- Receive and unpack merchandise shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper storage of items.
- Organize and stock merchandise on sales floor and in backroom according to company standards.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with restocking of high-demand items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, dusting, and organizing shelves.
- Assist customers with locating products and providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any low stock or out-of-stock items to management.
- Label and price merchandise accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Follow safety and security procedures to prevent loss and theft of merchandise.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance.
- Continuously maintain knowledge of current promotions, advertisements, and sales events.
- Assist with the set-up and execution of store displays and floor layouts.
- Proactively identify and communicate any maintenance or repair needs within the store.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to customers.
- Actively participate in training and development opportunities to improve job knowledge and skills.
