1. Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
2. Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer any questions they may have.
3. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
4. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by restocking merchandise, folding and hanging clothes, and arranging displays.
5. Continuously monitor inventory levels and communicate with management about any low or high stock levels.
6. Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to and addressing customer concerns and complaints.
7. Stay up-to-date on current sales and promotions, and effectively communicate them to customers.
8. Follow company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, loss prevention, safety, and cash handling.
9. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
10. Collaborate with team members to achieve and exceed store sales goals.
11. Proactively seek out and suggest ways to improve the customer experience.
12. Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times, representing the company in a positive manner.
13. Adapt to changing work environments and schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
14. Be a brand ambassador for Ross Stores, promoting the company's values and mission to customers.
15. Participate in inventory counts and assist with markdowns and restocking as needed.
