Engineer - Cloud Applications Platform

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Engineer to join our Cloud Applications Platform team at Ross Stores. The ideal candidate will have the technical acumen and problem-solving skills to help us design and build our cloud applications platform.This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, experience with modern development techniques, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. If you are a self-starter who loves to work on challenging problems and continuously challenge yourself to learn new technologies, then this is the perfect opportunity for you.You will play a key role in the design and development of our cloud applications platform, working with other engineers and architects to ensure that our platform is secure, scalable, and reliable. Your work will help to power a range of products and services for Ross Stores.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years working in cloud-based applications• Expertise in developing and operating applications in a cloud environment, such as AWS or Azure• Knowledge of modern development techniques, including CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and containerization• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby is a plus
