As the Director, you will oversee the management and maintenance of our retail stores, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functional for our employees and customers.   1. Develop and implement strategies to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of all retail store locations.
  2. Manage a team of facilities managers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  3. Oversee maintenance and repairs of store equipment, fixtures, and facilities, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  4. Monitor and control budget for store facilities, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost-effective measures.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including store operations, procurement, and finance, to ensure alignment and consistency in facility management processes and procedures.
  6. Conduct regular inspections of store facilities to identify and address any safety hazards or potential maintenance issues.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality services.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in facility management, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation.
  9. Train and develop store managers and staff on facility management procedures and protocols.
  10. Create and maintain reports on facility management performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes related to store facilities.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the facilities team and across departments.
  13. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner with vendors, contractors, and other external partners.
  14. Uphold the company's mission and values, and strive to continuously improve the customer experience through effective facility management.

Job Qualifications
  • Proven Experience In Managing Store Facilities: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Store Facilities For A Retail Company, Preferably In A Leadership Role. This Demonstrates Their Ability To Handle The Complexities Of Managing A Large Number Of Stores And Their Facilities.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Building Maintenance And Repair: The Director, Store Facilities Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Building Maintenance And Repair Processes, Including Hvac, Plumbing, Electrical, And Structural Systems. This Will Ensure That The Stores Are Well-Maintained And Meet Safety Standards.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Within Budget And On Time. This Includes Experience In Developing And Implementing Maintenance Plans, Managing Vendors And Contractors, And Overseeing Construction And Renovation Projects.

  • Knowledge Of Environmental And Safety Regulations: The Director, Store Facilities Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Environmental And Safety Regulations, Including Osha And Epa Guidelines. This Is Essential In Ensuring That The Stores Are Compliant With All Laws And Regulations, And That Employees And Customers Are Safe.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As The Head Of The Store Facilities Department, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Communicate Effectively With Other Departments And Senior Management. This Ensures That Store Facilities Are Maintained To The Highest Standards And That Any Issues Are Addressed Promptly.
