  1. Oversee the operations of assigned area and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of associates to meet and exceed sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  3. Monitor and analyze sales reports to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  4. Train and develop associates on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  5. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
  6. Communicate effectively with store management, corporate office, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
  7. Conduct regular store walks to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  8. Identify and address any operational or staffing issues in a timely manner.
  9. Ensure that all associates are following safety protocols and procedures.
  10. Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising.
  11. Collaborate with other Area Supervisors and store management to share best practices and implement company initiatives.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and encourages associates to reach their full potential.
  13. Uphold company values and represent the brand in a professional and positive manner.
  14. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor strategies to make informed decisions and drive business success.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, safety, loss prevention, and cash handling.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership Skills: A Successful Area Supervisor At Ross Stores Should Possess Excellent Leadership Abilities, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide A Team Towards Achieving Goals And Objectives.

  • Retail Management Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role Is Usually Required For An Area Supervisor Position At Ross Stores. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team, Overseeing Store Operations, And Driving Sales.
