As the Area Loss Prevention Manager, you will play a critical role in protecting our assets and ensuring the safety of our stores and associates.   1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and programs to minimize theft, fraud, and operational losses across multiple store locations.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential security risks and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Train and supervise store associates on loss prevention protocols and procedures, including proper handling of merchandise, cash, and customer interactions.
  4. Investigate and resolve any incidents of theft, fraud, or other security breaches, including reviewing surveillance footage, conducting interviews, and working with law enforcement as needed.
  5. Collaborate with store management teams to identify and address potential safety hazards and implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of customers and employees.
  6. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to loss prevention, identify trends, and develop action plans to improve overall effectiveness.
  7. Develop and maintain partnerships with external agencies, such as law enforcement and security vendors, to enhance the company's loss prevention efforts.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies in loss prevention and make recommendations for implementing new strategies or tools.
  9. Conduct regular training and development sessions for store teams to increase awareness and understanding of loss prevention best practices.
  10. Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on loss prevention initiatives, current risks, and potential solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience In Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection - Candidates For This Position Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Retail Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing A Team And Implementing Strategies To Reduce Loss And Increase Security.

  • Strong Leadership Skills - As An Area Loss Prevention Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Coaching A Team Of Loss Prevention Associates. This Requires Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members, As Well As Effectively Communicate With And Influence Other Departments And Store Leadership.

  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques And Technology - The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques And Technology, Such As Cctv Systems, Eas Tags, And Inventory Audits. They Should Also Be Able To Analyze Data And Identify Trends To Proactively Address Potential Areas Of Loss.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills - This Role Requires Frequent Communication And Collaboration With Various Stakeholders, Including Store Leadership, Corporate Teams, And External Law Enforcement Agencies. The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Build Relationships And Influence Others.

  • Attention To Detail And Analytical Thinking - The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Strong Analytical Skills To Identify Potential Areas Of Loss And Develop Strategies To Mitigate Them. They Should Also Be Able To Analyze Data And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Improve Loss Prevention Efforts.
