If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Ross Stores is currently seeking an Area Loss Prevention Manager to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our stores. As an Area Loss Prevention Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's success by implementing effective loss prevention strategies and working closely with store teams.   1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and reduce losses.
  2. Lead a team of loss prevention associates and provide guidance and support.
  3. Conduct audits and investigations to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  4. Train and educate store teams on loss prevention procedures and best practices.
  5. Collaborate with store management to address and resolve any identified issues.
  6. Monitor and analyze data to track and report on loss prevention metrics and trends.
  7. Identify and implement new technologies and tools to enhance loss prevention efforts.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and developments in loss prevention to continuously improve strategies.
  9. Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism while enforcing company policies and procedures.
  10. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from store associates to senior management.
  11. Develop and maintain positive relationships with law enforcement and other external partners.
  12. Stay informed on current local, state, and federal laws related to loss prevention.
  13. Conduct regular training and development sessions for loss prevention associates to ensure knowledge and skills are up to date.
  14. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the physical safety of store teams and customers.
  15. Identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements in loss prevention processes.
  16. Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources and Legal, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  17. Act as a role model for the company's values and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  18. Travel to different store locations within the designated area to conduct audits and provide support as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Security And Surveillance Systems, As Well As Investigative Techniques.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Manage A Team.

  • Understanding Of Legal And Ethical Issues Related To Loss Prevention, And The Ability To Implement And Enforce Company Policies And Procedures.
