Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Area Loss Prevention Manager at Ross Stores. In this role, you will oversee the protection of our stores and merchandise against theft and losses. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our employees and customers.   1. Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize theft and losses in our stores.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential security risks and address any areas of concern.
  3. Train and educate store teams on loss prevention best practices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Monitor and analyze store performance data to identify patterns and trends in theft and losses, and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with store management and corporate teams to investigate and resolve any incidents of theft or fraud.
  6. Manage the hiring, training, and performance of loss prevention associates to ensure a strong and effective team.
  7. Maintain a strong working knowledge of current industry trends and emerging technologies in loss prevention.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other external partners to support the prevention and resolution of theft and fraud.
  9. Conduct regular store visits and communicate with store teams to ensure consistent implementation of loss prevention strategies.
  10. Stay up-to-date on all legal and regulatory requirements related to loss prevention and ensure compliance across all stores.
  11. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on loss prevention activities, including incidents and trends.
  12. Serve as a role model for employees by demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and security in the workplace.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and respect among all team members.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve loss prevention processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of effectiveness and efficiency.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador and represent the company’s values and principles in all interactions with employees, customers, and external partners.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws Related To Loss Prevention And Security.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection, Preferably In A Retail Environment.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Develop A Team.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle Sensitive Situations Tactfully And Professionally.
