
Area Loss Prevention Manager

- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and policies to reduce and prevent theft, fraud, and other losses in our stores.
- Train and educate store employees on loss prevention procedures, including theft detection, prevention, and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential security and safety risks in our stores.
- Investigate and resolve cases of theft, fraud, and other losses, ensuring all incidents are properly documented and reported.
- Monitor and analyze store data and trends to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address them.
- Collaborate with store managers and corporate leadership to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with law enforcement agencies and provide support in the event of a criminal incident.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security equipment, such as cameras and alarms, in all store locations.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for loss prevention associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in loss prevention to continuously improve our strategies and procedures.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of loss prevention associates, providing guidance and support to ensure a strong and effective team.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources and Legal, to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop and manage the loss prevention budget, ensuring efficient use of company resources.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings related to loss prevention matters.
- Uphold the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity in all aspects of the job.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Retail Loss Prevention At A Supervisory Or Managerial Level
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Theft And Fraud
Ability To Analyze Data And Develop Strategies To Reduce Shrink And Increase Profitability.
