Job Description

As the Area Loss Prevention Manager, you will play a crucial role in protecting our stores and ensuring the safety of our employees and customers. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual who can effectively lead a team and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and fraudulent activities.   1. Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies to protect the company's assets and minimize theft and fraudulent activities.
  2. Train and supervise a team of loss prevention associates to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to prevent and handle theft and fraud incidents.
  3. Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify potential security risks and make recommendations to mitigate them.
  4. Collaborate with store managers and other departments to identify and address any operational or procedural issues that may contribute to loss prevention concerns.
  5. Monitor and analyze store performance data to identify trends and patterns, and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention to continuously improve the company's strategies and procedures.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies to aid in the investigation and prosecution of theft and fraud cases.
  8. Lead and participate in store-level crisis management and emergency response planning.
  9. Conduct thorough and timely investigations of any reported incidents of theft or fraud, ensuring proper documentation and reporting procedures are followed.
  10. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information related to loss prevention.
  11. Ensure all loss prevention policies and procedures are followed and make recommendations for updates or improvements as needed.
  12. Communicate effectively with store managers and employees to raise awareness of loss prevention issues and promote a safe and secure work environment.
  13. Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure proper training and onboarding of new employees in regards to loss prevention policies and procedures.
  14. Prepare and present reports on loss prevention activities, incidents, and trends to upper management.
  15. Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and foster a culture of integrity and honesty within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Retail Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Multi-Store Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Investigations, And Shrink Reduction Strategies.

  • Excellent Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Loss Prevention Professionals.

  • Ability To Develop And Implement Policies And Procedures To Ensure The Safety And Security Of Stores And Employees.
