
Area Loss Prevention Manager

- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and programs to reduce shrinkage and protect company assets.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of store locations to identify areas of vulnerability and develop action plans to mitigate risks.
- Train and educate store teams on loss prevention best practices and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze store data and trends to identify potential internal and external theft and fraud.
- Investigate and resolve incidents of theft, fraud, and other security breaches.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other security partners.
- Collaborate with store management to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Conduct internal investigations and interviews as needed.
- Manage a team of loss prevention associates, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
- Ensure that all loss prevention equipment, such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems, are functioning properly.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in laws and regulations related to loss prevention.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on loss prevention initiatives and results.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment for customers and associates.
- Handle any emergency situations or crisis management related to loss prevention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR and Operations, to address any loss prevention issues or concerns.
Experience In Loss Prevention: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting, Is Required For This Position. This Includes Experience In Conducting Investigations, Developing And Implementing Loss Prevention Strategies, And Managing A Team Of Loss Prevention Associates.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations, Including Store Procedures, Inventory Management, And Cash Handling. This Knowledge Will Be Critical In Identifying Potential Areas Of Loss And Developing Prevention Measures.
Leadership And Management Skills: As An Area Loss Prevention Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing And Leading A Team Of Loss Prevention Associates. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Management Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members, Are Essential For This Role.
