As an Area Loss Prevention Manager, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our stores and merchandise from theft, fraud, and other risks.   1. Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies and procedures to minimize risk and protect company assets.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections of stores to identify potential security vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Lead and manage a team of Loss Prevention Associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  4. Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and other losses, gathering evidence and working with law enforcement as needed.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations and Human Resources, to identify and address areas of risk and develop appropriate solutions.
  6. Monitor and analyze data related to loss prevention, identifying trends and patterns to proactively address potential issues.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as security companies and law enforcement, to enhance the effectiveness of loss prevention efforts.
  8. Conduct internal investigations and interviews with associates suspected of involvement in fraudulent or criminal activities.
  9. Review and recommend updates to company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
  10. Communicate and train store associates on loss prevention best practices and procedures.
  11. Respond to emergency situations and incidents at stores, ensuring appropriate protocols are followed.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in loss prevention to continuously improve and enhance strategies and procedures.
  13. Prepare and present reports to company leadership on loss prevention activities, trends, and successes.
  14. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information and situations.
  15. Represent the company in a positive and professional manner at all times, both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Develop A Team.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws Related To Loss Prevention And Security.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Retail Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Multi-Store Or District Level Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Loss Prevention Strategies And Techniques, Including Cctv Monitoring, Inventory Control, And Investigations.
