  1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to reduce shrinkage and safeguard company assets.
  2. Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify and address areas of potential risk or loss.
  3. Monitor and analyze store performance data to identify trends and patterns related to shrinkage and develop action plans to address any issues.
  4. Train, coach, and mentor store associates on loss prevention best practices, policies, and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with store management and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
  6. Conduct internal and external investigations into suspected fraud, theft, and other incidents of loss.
  7. Oversee the implementation of security measures, such as CCTV systems, alarms, and access controls, to minimize loss and maintain a safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
  8. Manage and maintain relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement and security vendors, to support loss prevention efforts.
  9. Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in loss prevention and make recommendations for enhancements or improvements to current strategies.
  10. Develop and monitor key performance indicators and metrics to measure the effectiveness of loss prevention efforts and report findings to senior management.
  11. Conduct regular store visits and provide guidance and support to store teams on loss prevention matters.
  12. Respond to and investigate incidents of theft, fraud, or other loss-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  13. Collaborate with the human resources team to ensure appropriate disciplinary actions are taken for any violations of company policies or procedures related to loss prevention.
  14. Prepare and deliver training and presentations on loss prevention topics to store teams and other stakeholders.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all loss prevention activities, incidents, and investigations.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting

  • Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Loss Prevention And Security

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Develop A Team

  • Experience With Conducting Investigations, Identifying And Analyzing Trends, And Implementing Loss Prevention Strategies.
