- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to reduce the risk of theft and increase overall safety in the assigned area.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of store operations to identify potential areas of risk and implement corrective actions.
- Train and educate store teams on loss prevention protocols and procedures to ensure compliance and understanding.
- Collaborate with store managers and district managers to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.
- Conduct investigations into incidents of theft, fraud, or other security concerns, and work with law enforcement as needed.
- Monitor and analyze store data and surveillance footage to identify patterns and trends related to theft or other security issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention and safety.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to loss prevention activities and incidents.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in loss prevention and implement new strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with senior management regarding loss prevention efforts and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage and train a team of loss prevention associates, including conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing coaching and development.
- Respond to emergency situations as needed and act as a liaison with emergency services.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess security and safety measures and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings related to loss prevention issues.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while promoting a strong loss prevention culture throughout the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment
Extensive Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Including Cctv Monitoring And Investigations
Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage A Team
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With All Levels Of The Organization And External Partners.
