  1. Develop and implement strategic initiatives for global trade and export programs to support the company's growth and success.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant trade laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally.
  3. Oversee the management and execution of all export processes and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of global trade policies and procedures.
  5. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  6. Stay up-to-date on changes in global trade regulations and communicate updates and potential impacts to the company.
  7. Manage relationships with external partners, including customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the company to ensure understanding and support for global trade initiatives.
  9. Lead and mentor a team of export compliance professionals to ensure the highest level of performance and development.
  10. Develop and manage budgets and resources for the global trade and export programs.
  11. Analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.
  12. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support international business development opportunities.
  13. Communicate with senior leadership on the status and performance of global trade and export programs.
  14. Represent the company in external meetings and events related to global trade and export programs.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to employees on global trade compliance matters.
  16. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  17. Collaborate with legal and other internal departments to ensure alignment and consistency in global trade practices.
  18. Develop and maintain a strong network within the global trade community to stay informed on best practices and industry trends.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Global Trade Regulations And Compliance: A Sr. Global Trade Export Program Manager At Rockwell Collins Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of International Trade Laws And Regulations, Including Export Controls, Customs Regulations, And Trade Agreements.

  • Experience In Managing Export Programs: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Global Export Programs, Including Coordinating With Multiple Stakeholders, Maintaining Compliance, And Mitigating Risks.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Involves Working Closely With Various Internal Teams, External Partners, And Government Agencies. The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Navigate These Relationships.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Sr. Global Trade Export Program Manager Should Have The Ability To Think Strategically And Identify Potential Risks And Opportunities In The Global Trade Landscape. They Should Also Be Adept At Problem-Solving And Be Able To Develop Effective Solutions To Complex Trade Issues.

Compensation

According to JobzMall, the average salary range for a Sr. Global Trade Export Program Manager is $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
