We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Analyst to join our team and play a key role in managing our customs and import operations. As a member of our dynamic and diverse global trade team, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and play an integral role in ensuring compliance and optimizing our international trade processes. In this role, you will utilize your expertise and knowledge to support our import and customs compliance efforts and help us continue to be a leader in the aerospace and defense industry.

  1. Manage customs and import operations in compliance with global trade regulations and company policies.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement import and export strategies.
  3. Monitor and analyze changes in trade regulations to ensure continued compliance.
  4. Conduct audits and assessments to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with external partners, including customs brokers and government agencies, to resolve any trade-related issues.
  6. Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on import and customs regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all import and export transactions.
  8. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to optimize international trade operations.
  9. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to import and customs activities.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in global trade compliance.
  11. Participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement and support business objectives.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on import and customs regulations and provide support and guidance to the team as needed.
  13. Represent the company in customs and import-related meetings, conferences, and seminars.
  14. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to government agencies and authorities.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions and communications.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Business, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Global Trade And Customs/Import Compliance.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations, Including Import/Export Controls And Customs Laws.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Navigate Complex Trade Issues.

  • Experience In Managing And Implementing Global Trade Compliance Programs, Including Classification, Valuation, And Free Trade Agreements.
