- Design and develop complex software systems for the FlightAware backend platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of backend systems with other components of the flight tracking platform.
- Maintain and enhance existing backend systems to meet the evolving needs of the aviation industry.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the backend systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the FlightAware platform.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in backend technologies, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.
- Lead the development and implementation of new features and functionalities for the FlightAware backend platform.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers on the team.

- Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the backend systems.

Extensive Experience In Software Engineering: A Senior Software Engineer At Rockwell Collins Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Software Development, With A Strong Focus On Backend Systems. This Experience Should Include Designing, Developing, And Maintaining Complex Software Systems.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Backend Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Backend Technologies Such As Java, Python, And C++, As Well As Experience With Frameworks Like Spring, Django, And Qt. They Should Also Be Familiar With Database Management And Have Experience Working With Databases Such As Mysql, Mongodb, Or Oracle.
