- Develop and implement strategies for improving supplier performance and driving continuous improvement in quality and development
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all supplier-related issues and inquiries within the business units
- Lead a team of quality professionals to achieve company goals and objectives related to supplier quality and development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas of improvement within the supply chain
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations, in all supplier interactions
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and develop action plans to address any areas of underperformance
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential risks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in supplier quality and development, and make recommendations for incorporating new practices and technologies into our processes.
Extensive Experience In Supplier Quality Management: A Senior Manager For Supplier Quality & Development At Rockwell Collins Must Have A Strong Background In Managing Supplier Quality. This Includes Developing And Implementing Quality Processes, Conducting Audits And Assessments, And Driving Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Quality Standards And Regulations Relevant To The Aerospace And Defense Industry, Such As As9100 And Iso 9001. This Knowledge Is Essential For Ensuring Compliance And Driving Quality Excellence Within The Supply Chain.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Requires Strong Leadership Abilities To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
