Senior Linux System Administrator

Rockwell Collins is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Linux System Administrator to join our team. As a Senior Linux System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and configuring Linux systems and ensuring they are optimized for performance. You will also provide technical support to our customers and assist with troubleshooting issues.To be successful in this role, you should have strong Linux system administration experience, excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least five years of experience in a similar role. Also, they should have a solid understanding of Linux systems, experience with scripting languages, and knowledge of network protocols and configuration.
