- Develop and implement export compliance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze changes in export regulations and proactively communicate updates to the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and other relevant stakeholders on export compliance requirements.
- Oversee and manage export classifications, license applications, and other export documentation processes.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify any potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage and maintain relationships with government agencies and external partners to ensure compliance with all export regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of trade compliance professionals, providing guidance and support for their development and success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure export compliance requirements are met in all aspects of the business.
- Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to track compliance performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on complex trade compliance matters to the organization.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in global trade compliance and integrate them into the company's processes and procedures.
- Advise senior management on potential risks and opportunities related to global trade compliance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
- Foster a culture of compliance and integrity within the organization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the company's global trade compliance program.
Extensive Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations: A Senior Global Trade Export Compliance Manager At Rockwell Collins Should Have A Deep Understanding Of All Relevant International Trade Laws, Regulations, And Policies, Including But Not Limited To Itar, Ear, And Ofac.
Proven Experience In Export Compliance Management: This Role Requires A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Export Compliance, Preferably In A Leadership Or Managerial Position. Candidates Should Be Able To Demonstrate Their Ability To Develop And Implement Effective Export Compliance Programs.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Hybrid Role, This Position Requires Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Various Departments And Stakeholders, Both Within And Outside The Company. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Export Compliance Concepts To Non-Technical Personnel.
Experience In Managing Global Export Operations: Rockwell Collins Has A Global Presence And Conducts Business In Various Countries. The Senior Global Trade Export Compliance Manager Should Have Experience In Managing Export Operations In Different Regions And Understand The Complexities Of Global Trade.
